FAQs about our Block Paving service
Our customers often ask for advice about our services, so we have put together a list of the most common questions:
It’s good practice to provide maintenance to your driveway usually in the form of regular sweeping, jet washing and the occasional sanding.
Yes, it is a versatile solution that can be used for both homes and businesses. It is commonly used for driveways, patios, pathways, town shopping areas and parking areas for both types of properties.
You’ll see it used in shopping centres and pedestrian areas where it provides practical, long lasting attractive paving and it has been a popular driveway option for homeowners for many years. Permeable block paving reduces surface run-off water by allowing it to drain between the blocks and into the sub-base.
Block paving professionally laid on a subbase is stronger than the concrete itself. You could expect it to last a lifetime if due care is taken with your driveway in the form of regular maintenance.
Costs will vary depending on the size of your drive, materials used, any necessary base work, patterns and useful extras such as edging, steps or drainage. No two block paving projects are the same. Please contact us and we will be happy to provide a free site survey and quote and a timeframe for completion.
